 Born in Tokyo in 1977, Mizuta creates furniture and sculptures using reclaimed materials and driftwood, which he personally collects piece by piece from the shore. His works, characterized by their unique forms, colors, and surface textures, maximize the beauty of each material, exuding a distinct presence that has captivated collectors both in Japan and internationally. 

When first encountering Mizuta’s work, one feels a profound emotion unlike any other. His pieces, imbued with themes of life and death, bring a peaceful sense of contemplation amidst an intensity of expression.
