Early winter, 2015.
A gentle rain fell upon Shirokanedai, Tokyo, wrapped in golden autumn leaves.

As raindrops gathered, one by one, and shared their stories,
a river named "AMAHARE" was born.
Before we knew it, ten years had passed.

To mark this milestone,
we invited ten makers to create original designs for tenugui, traditional Japanese hand towels.

Looking at the motifs created especially for AMAHARE,
memories of the past ten years with each of them come rushing back.

Created with heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported us along the way, these ten designs form a collection we call "AMAGUI."

On Friday, October 30, 2026,
AMAGUI will be unveiled at AMAHARE, KYO AMAHARE, and our Online Shop.


As we begin the next ten years,
may each day bring you moments of genuine comfort and ease.

On rainy days and sunny days alike.
